Volume 1 Number 10
February 21, 2002
To: full RSICC membership
I was able to visit with Joel Skousen here at my home for a couple of hours or
so a couple of days ago. We discussed various nuances of the documents he has produced outlining the
ideal function of government, indexed at http://rsicc.org/Form/
One of the items we discussed was the idea of not requiring that an individual recur to God's
authority either to be a citizen of a free land, or to be numbered as one of its founders.
We agreed that it would be appropriate for a sub-organization involved in the founding of these
documents to acknowledge God as the source of their inspiration. So in that regard, RSICC would be a
sub-set organization of a wider umbrella of individuals who will be involved in the founding of this
government and of presenting its core documents. In RSICC, we acknowledge the hand of God and seek
for divine assistance in what we do. But there will be others, who are guided by conscience, but who
do not wish to avow allegiance to God, who may also be numbered as founders, not in RSICC, but of
the wider group who will be involved in this process.
I showed Joel, briefly, the markings I am making in my copies of his documents as I am reading them.
I hope to be done with those fairly soon so I can post them. I'm waiting until I have all of them
read before beginning my commentary/editing.
Joel appreciates the work I have been doing via RSICC in trying to formalize the hammering out of
these principles so as to give this process more momentum and more stature as time goes on.
Our numbers are small at this point, but out of small things proceeds that which is great.
Neither Joel nor I know of any other organization on the planet that is attempting to do what we are
doing -- forming a new constitution for a new international government to protect the freedoms and
fundamental rights of all mankind.
Sincerely,
Sterling D. Allan
