Thanks for asking.
No, there hasn't been hardly any activity on the public list.
But there has been quite a bit of activity behind the scenes that is relevant to RSICC.
(1) Translations work
(2) Local Patriot Saints branch formation work
(3) Alternative utilities work
(4) Questions and resolution to issue of funding.
I'll address each of these below, as well as a few other matters,
including upcoming/ongoing deliberations. This wrap-up will serve as the first newsletter
installment for Remnant Saints Inter-Continental Congress. There are several matters of
importance to guild members, hence the emphasis on making sure every guild member receives this
newsletter.
(1) TRANSLATIONS:
We now have translations of five documents in Norwegian, one in French
and one in Hebrew posted. Translations in several other languages are under way, as
well as additional translations pending from these first three languages. Take a look at
and
I wanted to announce this, but was waiting to find out what
"Norwegian" is translated as in Norwegian, so the URL could reflect that at the time I
announced it. I finally just looked it up through Google. I hope Nynorsk means
"Norwegian," because that is what I've saved it as now.
(2) LOCAL PATRIOT SAINTS BRANCH FORMATION WORK
Another thing that I've been working on is formally organizing local
branches of Patriot Saints in this valley where I live. That has taking quite a bit of time
to create the initial invitation, the local web pages, the password protected list of individuals
currently under consideration for membership; and then to extend the invitations to the first
organizing meetings to be held here in our home, beginning this coming Sunday evening.
See:
It shouldn't take others of you as long to pull these materials
together because you can use these documents I've produced as templates if you wish. Today I
posted a page for RSICC members that provides step-by-step instructions along with links to
relevant templates to help you do in your geographical areas what I'm doing in mine.
We are in the phase right now at RSICC where we are seeking to have
local Patriot Saints elections for representation to RSICC. It's one thing to be listed as
being from such and such a branch on the planet. It's another to be able to say we have been
elected by that branch to serve as its representative on the guild. That will be a
significant step forward in our legitimacy, even if some of us only have two or three members from
our local area involved in the local Patriot Saints Branch. You have to start somewhere.
I have invited around 58 from this area that I've gotten to know
over the past few years living here. A few of them have expressed reluctance to be
involved because they do not want to jeopardize their good standing in their church. In my
opinion, there is no reason the church should feel that someone's involvement in this
organization is at odds with their purposes. To the contrary, I wish the church would see
this as it is -- designed to supplement the work of the church. Patriot Saints is not
confined to any one particular denomination, nor is it an officially approved outgrowth of any
particular church. Too bad that appears as threatening somehow to the control that the
church has over its membership. "Heaven forbid there could be 'saints' in churches
other than one's own!" Ridiculous, yes, but unfortunately, that is the mindset with
which we are working. Politically as well, the notion of 'this is the one and only true
political movement' keeps people from associating with other organizations and benefiting from
their talents.
I thus anticipate that the few who do show up to these first
meetings will be those who answer to God first and foremost, and who recognize the need for
patriot saint types to rally together, both to survive the coming tribulations, as well as to
form the beginnings of the kingdom of God that is being set up on the earth, to meet the kingdom
of heaven that will come down.
(3) ALTERNATE UTILITIES TECHNOLOGY
I've also spent some time in the past three days creating a website
featuring a machine I've learned about that condenses water from air, depending on the
level of humidity, at a rate of about 5-10 gallons a day.
Take a look at http://vapair.com
A future version of this machine will incorporate alternative energy
sources as well, including an option of solar panels that are ten times as efficient as present
solar panels.
Most of us are familiar with whispers of advanced
technologies that will not only be a boon to help us survive through the coming calamities,
but which will likely be the prevailing technologies in the coming ideal society.
It is exciting to see some of these begin to come into play and to be
a part of their arrival. I wish I could say more, but we need to be careful about what we
say publicly because the New World Order is very protective of their monopoly of control on the
power and utilities grid.
The theme, "would that all were prophets," which has
spiritual implications, also has a temporal manifestation. Would that no one had to rely on
the powers that be for their power.
That day is coming.
(4) QUESTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS TO ISSUES OF FUNDING
I now have an announcement to make that I did not have at the time I
began composing this message this morning. An individual who wishes to remain anonymous has
offered to cover my family's personal rent and monthly loan payments for the next while.
That means that all that is left to be covered financially now, in order for me to continue
working full time as the presiding facilitator for RSICC, is basic expenses such as groceries,
gas, utilities; as well as direct guild expenses such as website costs.
I can't tell you what a relief this most generous offer has brought to
my tired spirit. I just didn't see how we were going to be able to continue without me
having to work elsewhere for my sustenance and only spend a small portion of my time promoting
this organization.
Now we have a situation that seems doable.
I would like to thank those of you from RSICC who have donated so
far.
Thank you . . . both of you.
There are fifteen official members who have completed the
membership checklist and who have been approved by the guild. Each one of these acknowledged
the recommended minimal donation of at least $10/ month.
We need to up the ante.
I hope all of you will consider committing a tithe of a tithe (1%) of
your means to the support of this organization. For dialogue regarding this concept, see
beginning with thread title: "Remnant = tithe of a tithe;
temporal & monetary implications"
I have been meaning to present as a motion to the guild that a
commitment to make such a contribution either financially, or in kind by way of labors performed
on behalf of the guild, become required for membership. I can't help but think that such a
commitment is important to enable our organization to thrive as it should. As the scriptures
say, where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. A monetary/means commitment is
an outward manifestation of a commitment of the heart.
As a "commitment," the payment would be a matter of
conscience, not a matter of bureaucratic enforcement. To become a member of RSICC, and then
to remain a member, a person would be required to be able truthfully answer the following
question affirmatively: "Do you commit to contribute at least a tithe of a tithe
of your means toward the support of Remnant Saints Inter-Continental Congress?"
Any seconds to the above motion?
UPCOMING DELIBERATIONS
For now we need to focus most of our energies on the local Patriot Saints branch elections of
branch coordinators and of representation on RSICC. We do not want to have guild
activities be so numerous that you are not able to take care of that.
Meanwhile, there is an ongoing matter that will always be before us -- refining and fine
tuning the Declaration of Principles (Platform)
The rate at which we address this can be turned up or down, depending on other matters before
us. But we ought to be tackling it at least a little at a time, beginning with those
planks that had the least support, as well as adding new planks that ought to be included.
Any member of the guild is free to initiate such ballots.
Until we get help with the administration of the websites, I personally am going to be tied up
with translations and Patriot Saints branch formations; so I would encourage others to take the
initiative in presenting votes regarding the Declaration of Principles.
MISCELLANEOUS
On a fun note, I've found checking in occasionally at the following
website to be a nice and quick diversion.
It shows a map of the planet and where the sun is shining and where
it's night at any given time. Click on the "change time zone" to your local time
zone, and from then on, when you go to the page, the time display will be accurate to within a few
milliseconds in reference to your time zone.
My Dad (see www.allanstime.com),
who used to work for the U.S. Government's Time and Frequency division in Boulder, Colorado (NIST),
had a unit like this hanging in the hallway outside his office.
Now that so many of my friends reside in different locations on the
planet, it is fun to see what time of day it is for them in reference to where the sun is shining.
As I begin composing this newsletter this morning, the night-to-day
transition line has passed over my spot on the globe. Meanwhile, my friends in Norway are
nigh to having the day-to-night transition pass their way. Joe Eldred in New York will be
having lunch fairly soon. David Oates in Australia is probably burning the midnight oil and
finally thinking about retiring to bed.
Now that I'm done composing this message, I'm just about to make the
day-to-night transition, my friends in Norway are probably burning the midnight oil, and David is
probably reading the morning paper.
MEMBERSHIP
Today we welcome Adam Monson as an official members of RSICC.
His introductory month is complete today, and he has been approved by the guild and has completed
the membership checklist. Welcome aboard!
THE LAST WORD
I would just like to say thanks to all of you who have helped bring us
to this point. Thanks to your excellent input, we have established our organization, and it
is something that is better than what any of us could have come up with alone. I am humbled
to be a part of it and to serve as the presiding facilitator.
I truly do feel that the more we can combine our strengths, the better
off we will be.
I'm looking forward to meeting those people who will yet join us, and
bring their dynamics to our organization.
Thanks for your courage in your various areas of battle in this
struggle for the ascendancy of freedom and faith.
May God's angles continually be with you each to instruct, protect,
edify, and uplift. May the charity of Christ fill each of our hearts more abundantly, as we
do this work that is so easy to relegate to the head.
Sincerely, your brother in Christ, who is the unsurpassed hero of our
time and of endless ages.
